Dragon's Eye Labradorite — Richardson's Rock Ranch — The Butterfly

Sale price$40.00

It was Day 3 of the 3,000-Mile Run. I drove every mile. The 3,000-Mile Run → We pulled into Richardson's Rock Ranch — a thousand pounds of raw labradorite sitting on a pallet in 95-degree Oregon heat. An employee told us the blues were weak. Don't look for blue. I don't listen to don't. I spent an hour in that sun turning over raw boulders until I found it. The Richardson Strike →

We were still learning settings back then. Bob bought a grab bag of bezels — gunmetal patinated silver, cheap, just enough to practice on. This one got a butterfly. The stone didn't care what it was set in. We lost 25% of that raw just learning the angles. Every stone we brought back from that run has a story like this one. The 3,000-Mile Run Collection → We cut strictly to chase the flash. It fires gold, tight, from one angle. You move it and it's gone. The butterfly caught it first. The Richardson's Rock Ranch Collection →

Not dyed. Not enhanced. One of a kind.
