Spokane River Dalmatian Hornblende Cabochon — The Spokane Dalmatian
This one came out of the Spokane River — a local pull, not a road trip find. The hornblende crystals in this piece are larger and more defined than typical dalmatian stone, giving it a bolder, more graphic spot pattern. Under direct light the crystals catch and scatter light in a way that makes the whole stone come alive.
Hand-cut and polished in the Spokane Valley shop. The spots are completely natural hornblende — no dye, no treatment, no enhancement.
