The stone was found in the Spokane River. It was cut into a smooth, round cabochon. We let the natural character of the dark stone dictate its final shape. It has a deep, polished surface with subtle flecks. We've waded the Spokane River for over 30 years. It runs right through our backyard. Rufus, our beloved dog, loved it there.
