Dragon's Eye Labradorite — Richardson's Rock Ranch — The Rainbow Pear

This Labradorite pendant is gray with a strong blue and faint green flash. The flash is reversible. Faint, somewhat translucent dark gray bands or inclusions are visible, particularly towards the bottom half. It has a high polish.

It was Day 3 of a 3,000-mile trip. We found Richardson's Rock Ranch in Oregon. Locals told us the Labradorite blues were weak. Janyce spent an hour in the sun and found a 3-pound chunk with a blue-green flash.

This piece is part of The 3,000-Mile Run, Richardson's Rock Ranch Collection. We stumbled into the ranch on June 30th, 95 degrees in the Oregon sun. We found three stone types there.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece. It has a blue flash and a dark line across the bottom of one side. The flash is reversible with a gold teardrop ring. The stone displays strong blue and faint green flashes. Faint, somewhat translucent dark gray bands or inclusions are visible, particularly towards the bottom half.
