The Labradorite was found as a raw boulder. It had a stubborn tease of blue-green flash. We cut it to chase that flash. Natural internal fractures and inclusions are part of its character. We don't hide these.We were 95 degrees deep in the Oregon sun, 3,000 miles into a 9-day trip, when we stumbled into Richardson's Rock Ranch. The locals said the blues were weak.
