Pumpkin Jasper Gold Wire Wrap Freeform — Yakima River Canyon — The Pumpkin
We bought a two-man raft for the trip. Never got it in the water.
What we did was work the beach with a raft paddle — splash water onto the gravel bar to wet the stones so you can see what you’ve got. It works until it doesn’t. There were fishermen on that beach and we had to stop.
We still pulled this one near Glendive on the Yellowstone River. Pumpkin orange, warm and dense. It went in the bag.
We drove 11 hours straight back to Spokane after that.
