Agatized Drusy Chalcedony — Seven Sisters Montana — The Picky Trap
It was the last day of the 3,000-Mile Run. The 3,000-Mile Run → It had stormed all night. We were at the Yellowstone River at Seven Sisters at 6am, just outside Sydney, Montana. The Yellowstone River Story → We had been hunting for about an hour. The water was ice cold, but we didn't care. We were finally at Bob's lifelong dream — the Yellowstone River, hunting Montana agate. · The 3,000-Mile Run Collection →
Janyce found this one. Palm-sized raw agatized drusy. There are only three pieces that will ever come out of it. This is the first cut. The clear agate covering the internal drusy is what makes it. It's a freeform to capture its intricate pattern. Hold it to the light and you'll see why we kept it. The Yellowstone River Collection →
